Bonsai from the Highlands

I’m always fascinated with bonsai plants. But that’s all I can do since I can’t afford one. Bonsai plants can be costly since they are being grown for years. These bonsai plants here have been grown for like sixty years actually as per the waiter who showed us the place. This was in a restaurant located on top of a hill. The surrounding was full of different kinds of beautiful and rare plants, these bonsais included. They’re really lovely!

I brought my BA there on his second day here to have our first lunch together and even him was fascinated not just by the bonsais but the whole place as well.

Doubly Special

My BA and I were miles apart and I never thought we could celebrate our special day together until he told me about the schedule of his trip. And yes, on August 25th, we did celebrate it face to face which made it doubly special. And this is where the restaurant that we had our delish lunch. I like the ambiance though i’d say that they could have added one more AC in there to make it cooler. Nevertheless, they have great tasting food.

But anyway, yes, today is our special day. And though we celebrated it apart again, we both know and believe that we’ll be celebrating more special days soon. We just have to wait. (“,)

Our First Day

Sunday, August 23rd was when my BA landed in our city. He arrived at around 10 o’clock in the morning and was able to checked in to his hotel right then. But we were able to meet right after lunch yet because I went to attend a Christening in the morning wherein i was a Godmother and my BA thought it should be prioritized. So sweet, isn’t it?

Anyway, after we first set our eyes on each other, we stayed at the hotel’s lounge and grabbed himself his lunch. He haven’t eaten since he arrived. Probably because he’s anxious. Hehe. I only ordered my favorite mango shake because i was still full from the party.

This picture was taken from his room on the fifth floor. We went there after lunch to get some stuff, presents for me and my son Yogi, that is. Hehe. That’s the view of the hotel’s arcades and the parking lot. The big building across the street is Gaisano Mall (one of the biggest we have here in the city).

Get Well Soon!

To my BA’s mom who’s in the hospital now recuperating. She was brought to the hospital during the time when my BA was still here in the country to visit me. The news worried him a lot given the fact that he can’t be there for his mom. He’s back home now though but still worrying because his mom is still in the hospital. I’m so sad for my BA because I can’t be there to give him comfort as much as I want to. All I can really do is pray for his mom’s speedy recovery.

Don’t worry too much, Honey. I know your mom will be fine soon. Just keep on praying.

Sneeze, Sneeze and Sneeze

Poor me! Been sneezing since about 8 o’clock in the morning. I didn’t feel bad as i awoke. Maybe it has something to do with the weather again. It’s been so hot lately which opted me to take a shower before going to bed every night for the last couple of days.

I already took a pill but it didn’t work. I think i need to take another one. I actually thought of taking two pills straight but thought otherwise. I tried it before and it made me dizzy so I won’t be silly again this time. Hehe. I will wait for another hour for the next pill since it should be taken every four hours.

Get well soon to me! How I wish my BA is here to take care of me. Wishful thinking….*wink*

That should be read by all of us. Specific emotions that weaken certain organs in the body:

and…

- fear fails the kidney.

I’m not really sure if these are true. It was forwarded to me by a friend through SMS or text messaging. It didn’t indicate the source so i’m not sure if these are really facts or myths. Nevertheless, i still wanted to share them with you. Perhaps one of you would enlighten me if they are really true or not. But they are interesting, aren’t they?

Happy Trip!

To my Big Angel who left the country last night. As of the moment, he’s still flying on to eastward and will touch down San Francisco in about two hours. We’ve talked last night before his departure at NAIA (Ninoy Aquino International Airport) in Manila and he will give me a call as soon as he reach his destination.

It’s not the end of his journey though. He will have another five hour flight to Charlotte, North Carolina after San Francisco. Then a two hour drive to Asheville from Charlotte. Such an adventure for my Big Angel but as he said, it’s worth it, definitely.

Happy Trip, Honey and hear from you soon! Mwah!
