Goin' Japanese
It was my BA’s last Saturday here in our place when we thought of giving my friend Elsie a treat because she helped us with certain documents that BA needs to bring back home with him. We couldnt’ decide where to go after the place we’re supposed to have our dinner was closed for a special affair.
Elsie called her friends while we’re on mobile and they’ve recommended some place but unfortunately, BA and I have already eaten in those places they’ve mentioned. We wanted something new. Elsie and I decided to go to a newly-opened coffee shop instead and just have desserts and coffee. But when we got there, BA wanted a “true” dinner, so we left the coffee shop. Gladly, Elsie thought of this new place she saw recently while we were at the parking lot. So we went there right then.
I like the restaurant’s ambiance with its Japanese setting. And their food is yummy too. The only problem is, they serve a small serving for each dish. The dish we ordered which is supposed to be good for two to three persons looked like it’s only good for one. Nevertheless, the food is great. The prawn and squid is so tender and their customer service is excellent. I might visit the place sometime soon again.

Farewell Tiger
This is Tiger, BA’s pet cat. He has been my BA’s buddy for years. But lately, BA noticed that Tiger hasn’t been in good health. BA concluded that Tiger could have been suffering from cancer because of the big lump on his head – same thing that his cats before had been through.
And today, Tiger passed away. I do know the feeling of losing a pet because we do have pets here at home too and a lot of them had already passed away. BA was very sad when he arrived home finding Tiger already dead on his bed. He knew it was coming, he knew tiger was dying but still, the fact that he has been with him for years still made him sad, not to mention, really brought tears in his eyes. I feel sad for my BA but he still have Lily though, Tiger’s partner, so life goes on. (“,)

In the picture, Tiger was being playful when BA was preparing a package for me. He lied down in the box and wanting to be included in the package, I guess. LOL.
Goodbye Tiger…
At Mang Gorio's
It was on a Friday when my Big Angel and I went to have our late lunch at this restaurant. It was my first time to sample their food though I had visited the coffee shop adjacent to it. The two establishments are owned by the same young professionals.
I don’t know what to expect that day. I thought they have expensive servings but they haven’t. Everything was pretty affordable and yummy too. The place is called Mang Gorio’s and the coffee shop is McGregor’s. They said, Mang Gorio is the Filipino name for McGregor. What do you think? Well yes, that’s interesting.

We'll Cross the Bridge When We Get There
This is perhaps one of the most oftenly used idiomatic expression of all time. I like this line a lot and last night, I was able to use it again when BA and I were talking on the phone. He mentioned about a certain issue and that’s what I replied to him.
Well, it’s too early to talk about that issue since we both still have a long way to go. It’s not something negative though. Just one of those issues that need to be settled by the couple since one should consider each other’s thought or idea. But that would still be many years from now. So Honey, we’ll cross the bridge when we get there, okay? Mwah!
At the Coffee Shop
This was at the back of the coffee shop that my BA and I went to after having our first movie date. We were freezing cold at the cinema so BA thought of going to a coffee shop afterward to warm ourselves with hot coffee. But mind you, mine wasn’t hot since I don’t like having hot coffee in the middle of the day. That’s my glass of cold cafe latte’ on the table.
I wasn’t supposed to stay at this part of the coffee shop because this is the smoking area but BA preferred to stay here since it’s cold inside, and did I just mention that we were freezing cold. Hee hee.
This was also a very special day for us because it’s the day that he proposed to me and on bended knee at that. Beat that! LOL. What a happy and surprising day that was. My BA definitely put me on cloud 9. (“,)

Baked! Sounds Yummy But…
I like the ambiance of this restaurant that my BA and I had our lunch on the fourth day of his vacation here. The colors used throughout the whole place are all bright colors which made the place look bigger than it really is. Even the colors of the benches’ cushion are bright too.
But it was a funny experience for me that day. My BA ordered three dishes and I ordered one which was Baked Clams. It was my first time to have tasted one. I was having a hard time deciding what to order and the word “baked” sounds so good so that’s why I chose it. Unfortunately, it’s not as good as it sounds. Well, my BA didn’t have problems with it but gosh, I almost puked. The clams are a little slimy and I felt the slime was left in my throat when I gobbled it. I didn’t feel okay after that and my BA did notice it. He knew then what went wrong. So, I stopped eating. BA just finished what he had on his plate and we left because I don’t feel well at all. Funny eh! If you could only see my face that time because BA said, I really look terrible. LOL.
