Nine Months Ago Today…

…When I received my BA’s first ever impressive e-mail. Yes, he had given me that first good impression. My BA always writes from the heart that’s why his e-mails which I considered “poetic e-mails” are always filled with emotion that never fails to melt my heart. Cheesy? Hee hee. But that’s the truth.

And today, we are celebrating that day. Though it wasn’t the day that I accepted him into my life but it was the day that we first heard of each other so that will be our special day from now on.

Happy 9th Monthsary, Honey! I love you so much! Mwah!

Call-Ins

It can happen anytime, even in the wee hours of the morning, and my BA couldn’t do anything about it for that’s what his job calls for. He only hopes for no call-ins but it is just not possible.

Just yesterday, he was called in at 2 o’clock in the morning. He slept late the previous night so he only had about two to three hours of sleep. Poor BA! But knowing him who’s always ready to rumble, I know it’s not something biggy for him. But things like that really is exhausting. He was up for nineteen hours today and gladly he wasn’t called in again in the early morning.

He’ll be up in a few minutes for another battle at work. I’m actually waiting for him now because we weren’t able to talk last night because he was home late. And he’s here now, so got to go! (“,)

Sniffing Like A Dog

It may sound funny but I really was sniffing like a dog when my BA was here. Want to know why? Well, he was using a cologne called “Old Spice” and I just love its smell. It was my first time to have smelled it and I fell in love with it instantly. And boy, BA couldn’t help laughing whenever I sniff not to mention with the “sniff” sound. I did it on purpose really, for fun, you know.

And today, I suddenly missed sniffing like a dog. LOL. Seriously, I really missed smelling my BA’s smell. We’ve been apart for more than two months now and I do wonder when I will be able to smell him again or sniff him again, if I may say so. Hee hee.

Answer me, BA! *wink*

Heart and Souls

heartandsouls This is one of my favorite movies of all time and I’ve watched it on DVD several times. I actually lost count of how many times I’ve seen it. This movie was a hit in 1993 which stars Robert Downey, Jr – one of Hollywood’s good actors.

Anyway, I thought of this movie all of a sudden when I received an SMS from my BA which includes the phrase “Heart and Soul.” You may find it cheesy so I will  not just talk about it here. Let’s just talk about the movie instead. LOL. Also, there is a song that has that phrase or perhaps it’s the title, and it was included in the movie too. Are you familiar with it? It goes… “you’re in my heart, you’re in my soul…” That’s all I know though but I like that song too. I think it was popularized by Mr. Rod Stewart, if I’m not mistaken. Am I right? Maybe you know that song. (“,)

In Loving Memory

It’s November 1st and our country or perhaps the whole world is celebrating “All Souls’ Day” – the best day to pay our loved ones who left us, a visit. The last time I visited my hubby’s tomb was on his birthday on August 29th and I was with my son Yogi and my BA. We brought him flowers and we lighted candles too.

Today could have been the best day to pay him another visit but due to unavoidable circumstances, we weren’t able to make it. We still have tomorrow though since it’s still a holiday because it’s All Saints’ Day.

These pictures were taken at the memorial park where my hubby’s remains lies. That’s his tomb there, adorned with flowers. This was on his birthday, could have been his 34th birthday to be exact. Such is life but he will forever remain in our memory.
