I Can’t Wait Until I Get to Sample Some of These Yummys!

My fiancé arrived home a little late today because his stepson and family invited him over for a dinner. He went straight there right after work, unlike some times when he will go home first before going there. It was not the first time that he was invited for dinner with no special occasion to celebrate. It happens from time to time since their house is only 30 meters from his house.

He was so happy to share with me what happened at dinner with them. There were lots of foods like our favorite mashed potatoes; there were sausages, bread, vegetable salad and fruits, too. Hearing him talking about that made me drool because I haven’t had mashed potatoes in a while. He was very full like his tummy’s going to explode any minute. But knowing him to be always lean, even if he would indulge in a feast like that, he would never gain weight, thus, not having the need to look for best weight loss supplements, unlike other people. That is something that his stepson envies him for because he is kind of big. (“,)

19 Months…

…and counting. Yes, it’s already been a year and seven months since we embarked on this journey. It was on the 25th to be exact and on that special day, this sweet e-card was waiting for me in my e-mail inbox. We call each other angel. Me being his little angel and him my big angel. Call it cheesy or sappy but what can I say? We love being that way. So, just let us be, okay? Hee hee.

Always Be Prepared; Just in Case

My cousin’s husband works as an engineer for an oil company in Canada. He may be earning good but his job can be risky too, not to mention, he has to be away from his family for long periods of time. Being in an oil company, he is paid well but just like any other job, there are some risks in it too. They work offshore and at many other rough-and-tough, dangerous locations. Well, as long as he’s being careful, then he will be good to go. But accidents or injuries can happen anytime and anywhere. And his company is very rigid in following all the safety rules and regulations, of which he constantly assures my cousin.

But if ever you feel like your company has lacked in protecting you, you can always call for the help of professionals like an offshore injury lawyer. Always make sure that you are aware of your rights and know when you need to shout out and ask for help. Hopefully, that will never happen, but…one never knows.

He Can Be So Stubborn

After several nights of not having a sound sleep, dark eye circles are now visible on my fiancés face. Poor, Honey! Good for us women that we can always hide those dark circles with make-up or concealer. I told him about the concealer but it’s a big no go for him; he even told me, he’d rather have the circles than put concealer on his face; as he put it, “That’s a girl thing!” LOL.

Still, I did look for some online and maybe if I sweet talk him enough he’ll agree to give it a try. I’d let him check the site himself and decide if he will listen to me. That remains to be seen and I won’t push him, but maybe if I tell him he’s starting to look like an old man that might change his mind in an instant. Sneaky me, huh? Hee-hee-hee.

Get Your Rest, Honey. You’ll Need it After I Get There

Watching my 4-month-old niece sound asleep in her swing made me wish that my fiancé would be able to sleep soundly like that too. As I’ve mentioned previously, he’s been having difficulty sleeping as of late, thus he was thinking of trying a sleep aid. He’s yet to decide if he wants to go that route because he can be stubborn and likes to solve his own problems, but based on the conversation we had yesterday, I have this feeling that he’s feeling so exhausted that he’s willing to give it a try. I don’t see any problem with; I’ve heard of many people using such with great results. As long as he’ll not be so stubborn, there would be no more sleepless nights for him; unless I decide to keep him awake, that is. LOL!

Another Busy Weekend Ahead

But he sure is looking forward to it. Yep, that’s how eager my fiance’ is to finish the task he’s got to do and accomplish this weekend, and that’s to continue the renovation with the help of his stepson. He’s so excited that he doesn’t mind if he’s exhausted the whole week because of work. He’s determined to finish the renovation before I set foot in his humble abode and that’s what’s keeping him into his goal.

Isn’t that so sweet and admirable? And that is why I love him so. He’s just the sweetest man alive for me – very selfless and very hardworking too. That’s my man! (“,)

I’m Fine With Those Lines; They Add Character To My Persona

At my age of 35, it can’t be denied that fine lines are already starting to show. But it’s not something that I make a big deal about. It’s inevitable so I just laugh about it.

My friend and I actually had a good laugh yesterday because we were teasing each other about it. We were having a snack in the mall and it was our topic and we even kidded each other that we both wondered if a treatment for wrinkles was being sold anywhere in the mall we were at. And it’s better to laugh because frowning about it would just add more wrinkles. The best thing to do it is to get over it and age gracefully, is it not?
