LDR, a long distance relationship, is not at all easy. I can definitely say that for I am in an LDR now. My fiancé and I just have to keep ourselves satisfied with the phone calls, chats and emails and that’s all we can do at the moment. As much as we try to be patient, sometimes it is just not simple and we admit that we do both get impatient. So impatient that it creates a spark between us. But not a spark that could destroy our new-found hopes. We see to it that it won’t affect us in any way other than strengthening our bond. The distance just affects our moods at times because aside from dealing with the patience thingy, we do have certain problems that we have to deal with in our every day life, for life must go on until we reach our goal of being together.

Oh well, I am being sentimental now; ’nuff said about that. Maybe I’ll do some research about maxoderm which my fiancé was curious about. Seems to me that he’s being sentimental about the future in his own sparky way…(“,)

After about a month of problems, my fiancé and I are finally able to talk on Skype again. The reason behind not having done it lately was, first, his PC was having problems for almost two weeks. And when he got his his PC fixed, it was our PC here that got problems. Would you call that coincidence or merely bad luck? Or maybe even a conspiracy!

Anyhow, what’s important is we get to Skype again and we were both able to see each other’s faces again, including those tired and sleepy eyes that seems to need an eye cream; sleepy eyes for me, or bedroom eyes as he likes to call ‘em. Isn’t that cute? LOL.

My fiancé is a hearty eater and there are times that he really indulges, especially on his favorite dessert – vanilla bean ice cream. He always has a bowl every night before bed time. Knowing that at first kind of worried me since his family has a history of diabetes. But after learning that he’s very healthy and keeps a check on himself, that took my worries away.

I think what I have to worry now is him gaining so much weight that he’ll be needing the help of clinicallix soon. Nah, I don’t think I have to worry about that for he is not just health conscious but figure conscious too; he won’t go overboard; he wants to stay slim and trim and sexy looking for me…(“,)

I’m just such a worrier. Oh well; get over it, girl…(“,)

And that’s because of these rotating brownouts we’ve been having since March. We always talk before he leaves for work at his 6 o’clock in the morning so our scheduled chat time is 5 o’clock my afternoon which is also his 5 o’clock but morning.

Our scheduled power outages today were set from 10am to 1pm and from 4pm to 7pm. So basically, we couldn’t really chat. But we will be able to chat tomorrow since the schedule changes every other day. It’s been like this for almost two months now though and we have actually adjusted to this kind of situation already. And we just consider it one of those dusty roads and no biggy at all.

We normally talk about five to ten minutes only whenever he calls me in the evening before my bed time because it’s his morning and he is already at work . I’m talking about my fiancé who always makes it a point to call me every night even when he’s at work and his big bosses are around. And he won’t get himself into trouble. As he’s often told me, he’s basically his own boss.

Last night was different though. We got to talk for two minutes only because he was tasked to check for scanning software. He was such in a hurry because his boss wanted an answer ASAP. It was no biggy for me and I truly understood ‘cause, come to think of it, he still managed to give me a call even though he already had a task that had to be done pronto. Isn’t he super sweet?

I wasn’t able to be home at 5:30 – our scheduled time for chatting since he needs to leave at 6 o’clock for work. But the good thing is, we’re both on mobile so we just exchanged a few sms and had each other well informed. He’d call me later tonight though as he always does every single day to wish me good night and I’m looking forward to that one, as always.

That’s right after the power was back at my BA’s neighborhood. I’ve written previously about their place experiencing power outages because of the heavy snow that fell on the 18th of this month. They had their power back after 3 1/2 days. Imagine that? I never thought winter could be such a disaster. I never experienced power outages that long in my entire life. The longest we had here was about eight hours only.

But gladly, that problem was over. And now, BA and I are back to talking on Skype. We haven’t done it in those three days. Good thing, his cellphone haven’t had problems. (“,)
