My Day’s Coming!

We were having our dinner yesterday when my upcoming birthday became the topic. The husband said that he’s got plans, but he will never divulge anything until the right time. I know he has surprises in store for me, again; knowing him, I already know that. And that is why he was being secretive because he wants it to be a total surprise.

But I did give him ideas on what I want for my birthday. He was beaming when I enumerated all the electronics on my list which includes a DSLR camera, an 8gb ipod nano, a kindle and an iPad. Wheee!!! He doesn’t have to buy all of them, though. He just has to choose one. But if he’ll give it all to me, much more the better. LOL.

Which Way is Which?

I’ve only been here in the U.S. for seven months now, and though I’ve traveled, toured and circled around the city numerous times, I still get mixed up about where each road is heading, and so on and so forth. I must admit, my geography is really poor.

But thanks goodness for the latest innovation. I can get a GPS and problem solved. The husband will get me the best trucker gps as soon as I get my license and I really can’t wait. It will be my buddy for my road trips from then on.

I’ll Be Calling Everyone Soon

After months of waiting, I will soon be having my htc new Smartphone. I’ve been raring to have one, but we’ve had to set it aside because we had so many other things to prioritize. Besides, I am just here at home most of the time, so there’s no need for me to have a cell phone just yet and we have our landline here at home too.

A few more weeks of waiting and I will get hold of my new cell phone finally. Can you tell am getting giddy with excitement now?

A Hippity Hoppy on My Property

I saw a rabbit for the first time in our backyard today. The husband said there were a lot of them before, but it’s only today that I got to see one after being here for six months. It was about ten meters away from me and I was thinking of getting my digital camera to take a photo of it, but I figured the snapshot wouldn’t be that good since it was quite far from me.

I got my Nikon binoculars instead and enjoyed watching the rabbit munching on grasses for like fifteen minutes. I don’t know what scared it away, but it hopped into our neighbor’s tool shed and after that, I didn’t see it again. Well, maybe in the coming days he will show up again.

Getting Giddy Over It

A few more months to go and I will have my new cellphone. I really can’t wait. I was used to having a cellphone every single day of the year back home, but when we left for Uncle Sam’s, I left my cellphone with my mom because my hubby said I couldn’t use it here.

I’ve been here for almost three months now and though I am already used to not having a cellphone with me, still, my desire to have one is still there. Not only that though, we do know how important having a cellphone is.

But I am still undecided what cellphone to get. It can be a Motorola Xoom or just whatever that will tickle my fancy. That still remains to be seen but I am definitely looking forward to it.

While He Was Busy, So Were We (“,)

We went to an Office Depot earlier to get some supplies and while my fiance’ was busy browsing for what he needed, my son and I were busy browsing the electronic section. We looked through the computer monitors, the laptops and the MP3 players. We couldn’t do anything but just look. Well, for now, anyway, because we don’t have a budget for any of them yet. But in time we will. I have an eye on a particular monitor and MP3 player and I will for sure get ’em soon. That is my goal.

Special Pictures Tell a Special Story

The people who graced my brother’s wedding were all happy to be there. I can tell not just because of their happy faces but also because of their eagerness in capturing photos every moment they could get.

What’s special about it is some of them had to use their cellphones just to capture those special moments. Maybe they have ipods to store the pictures afterwards since I know they’ve taken hundreds of photos. Cellphones can sometimes freeze up due to photo or video overload. But I know for certain that they will do everything to have those photos stored because that wedding only happened once and, yes, the photos last a lifetime.
