A Steal of a Deal
I’ve been hearing about Cyber Monday deals even before I got here in the land of Uncle Sam, but I never got to enjoy it last year. Perhaps this year because that is certainly one of the best times to shop for great deals.
And knowing that we will shop for new Christmas decors this year including a new Christmas tree, I know for certain, it will be the best time for us to shop. I already told the husband about it and as always, he’s in for the idea. He knows how wise I am when it comes to shopping so, no second thoughts for him.
Christmas is my favorite time of the year and I certainly can’t wait for Cyber Monday to do our Christmas décor shopping! Wheee!!!
The Timing was Simply Perfect
The husband will be out at work by 3:00 p.m. so I called him to remind him about the things that he need to buy at the supermarket. I also had additional things in mind so I dialed about a couple of minutes ago and guess what? He was at the supermarket! Perfect timing!
Yes, it’s not time for him to leave work yet, but his bossman asked him to purchase some goodies at a hardware just beside the supermarket so, he decided to buy the things that we need too. There were only three items so that won’t really take most of his time.
I wonder if that has something to do with telekinesis. LOL.
The Little Cubs Loved Their Scrubs
Spending Christmas Eve with my fiancé’s family was really great! Everybody had a blast, especially the kids who got an enormous amount of gifts including my 7-year-old son. There were four kids there and my son was the only boy. The three girls whom are just his age received lots of girly stuff including cutie medical scrubs for little girls. That was really nice. As soon as they saw them, they never had second thoughts about wearing them a few minutes afterward. That’s how much they loved their scrubs.
That got me to thinking: maybe I should get some medical scrubs for myself, huh? They would be nice to wear as substitute for pajamas. Not a bad idea, eh?
Are You Ready Bro’? Your Life is About to Change Forever
There are only 13 days more to go and the event that we’ve been waiting for is going to happen and that’s my brother’s wedding. We had our fitting session last Sunday and by next week, the gowns of the ladies that are part of the entourage will be ready. I wonder if the men’s suits will be ready by then too. I did learn the other day that the bow ties are good to go.
I’ve been counting down the days because what’s making me super duper excited too is that my fiancé will be celebrating with us. Yes, he will be here to grace the event. I’ve already had his suit made and I will get it next week, too. I can’t wait to see him in his Barong Tagalog. For certain, he will look dashing! (“,)
Our True Destination is Happiness
Though no definite date has yet been set, within the next four months I will be attending a very special wedding; my wedding…(“,) There’s so much still to be done before the momentous day and event happens, including the choice of location and venue. My fiancé and I have spoken of many possible locales we could choose to say our vows, but no particular destination has caught our fancy as of yet. Maybe we’re being too picky, but it is a one-of-a-kind day for the both of us and we want it to be memorable. But where e’re it may be, I would love to have one of those destination wedding dresses to match the surroundings. Yeah, I’m a dreamer, but so is he, and when our dream finally does come true, we want forever memories to share as we travel our road to forever together.
A Wily Woman Has Her Ways
I was teasing my fiancé yesterday because he finally got himself a new pair of sneakers. He was reticent in purchasing them just yet because he felt his old Nike Air Max were still good to go. Duuuh! I was the one who had been pushing him to get a new pair; the ones he had were almost worn out when he visited me here a year ago. Silly boy. I told him that if I could have done the shopping for him, he would have had a new pair then. And since then, we’ve been thousands of miles apart so all I could do was nag him every day to get a new pair.
And after all my persistent nagging, he finally gave in. He probably couldn’t stand my voice anymore and that’s why he put an end to it by finally buying that pair of sneakers. What he doesn’t realize is, he did exactly what I wanted him to do. I won! I won! LOL.
Happy Rain Needs No Umbrella
When it rains it really pours, and this week good news has been pouring not just on me but on my fiancé as well. First off, I received the letter that we’ve been waiting for three weeks and we got the much awaited response we’ve been waiting for and it’s in favor of us. Yay! Lastly, the LCD TV plus its flat panel mount that he ordered finally arrived. I am so happy for him because he’d been raring to have that TV. But I would be even happier if I was already there to share it with him and got to watch my fav shows and movies on that TV too. Hehe. Well, soon, soon, soon; it won’t be long.
