Metaphors

Defined by Wikipedia as the figure of speech concisely expressed by comparing two things, saying that one is the other… is what my BA often use in his emails and when we talk or chat. He’s such a poetic man – using metaphors to express his feelings which makes me feel like I’m Juliet listening to Romeo. LOL.

Oh well… I think I’m beginning to get cheesy again here. Hee hee. He’s been using a lot of metaphors that I actually forgot all of them. Oh my! I’m dead! Nah, I think, they were just so deep for me and I kind of having difficulty comprehending them but I did feel every word being said, from him to me.

Anyway, I found one metaphor online that I really like…

  • “But my heart is a lonely hunter that hunts on a lonely hill.”
    (William Sharp, “The Lonely Hunter”)

For the record, I am not lonely. But of course.  I just like the way it sound or rhyme. Nice, huh?
